ABSTRACT
CT scan of the brain in the radiology department of several hospitals performs a CT scan of the brain in soft tissues using slices of different thickness (5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, and
10mm). The purpose of this study was to analyze CT scan images of the brain with various slices and the quality of the CT scan images for each slice thickness. This study used a quantitative research design with univariate and bivariate statistical analysis to determine differences in image quality from various variations in object thickness on CT scans of the brain. The results showed that there was an effect of thickness of 76.8% on the quality of CT scan images of the brain (contrast resolution = CNR low contrast) and an effect of thickness of 82.2% on the quality of CT scan images of the brain (contrast resolution = CNR high contrast).

ANALISIS KUALITAS CITRA DENGAN VARIASI KETEBALAN IRISAN PADA PEMERIKSAAN CT SCAN OTAK
ABSTRAK
Pemeriksaan CT scan otak di bagian radiologi di beberapa rumah sakit melakukanpemeriksaan CT scan otak pada jaringan lunak menggunakan tebal irisan yang berbeda beda (5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, dan 10 mm). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis citra CT scan otak dengan berbagai variasi irisan dan kualitas citra CT scan dari masing masing ketebalan
irisan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis statistik univariasi dan bivariat untuk menganalisa kualitas citra dari berbagai variasi ketebalan objek
pada pemeriksaan CT scan otak. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan ada pengaruh ketebalan irisan sebesar 76,8 % terhadap kualitas citra CT scan otak (kontras resolusi = CNR low contrast)
dan pengaruh ketebalan irisan sebesar 82,2 % terhadap kualitas citra CT scan otak (kontras resolusi = CNR high contrast).
