Abstract
This book is intended for education Diploma III and Diploma IV Department of Environmental Health Health Polytechnic Ministry of Health Jakarta II, and can also provide information about contribution to the development of science and technology, especially in the field of environmental health and can also be used as a source of information for other readers.
The book discusses Environmental Microbiology as a basic material in understanding the recognition and control of microorganisms in water, soil, air, food and drink, and waste. With the presence of this book, it is hoped that it can help lecturers and students in the teaching and learning process.
Considering that the contents of this textbook are arranged following the applicable curriculum, to be given in 16 (sixteen) face-to-face meetings, this book is also the basis for the previously published guidebooks for microbiology practice.
