EFFECTIVENESS OF SANSEVIERIA TRIFASCIATA TO REDUCE CARBON MONOXIDE LEVELS IN THE AIR CHAMBER
Carbon monoxide (CO) is one of the many air pollutants produced by human activity. These pollutants become very dangerous, especially if it is in an enclosed area. One way to reduce CO with the use of plants Sansiviera trifasciata / tongue-in-law.
Study design using test methods one group pretest-post test. The test is to compare how the percentage decrease in CO levels before and after a treatment. Measurements of CO levels after exposure 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, 96 hours and 120 hours of contact with Sansevieria trifasciata with a density range of 20 cm, 30 cm and 60 cm. In addition, effect of temperature and humidity on decreasing levels of Carbon monoxide (CO) in the experimental chamber
There is difference in the decrease CO concentration in each test chamber (p
