ANALISIS PENGULANGAN CITRA RADIOGRAFI PADA PEMERIKSAAN ABDOMEN DENGAN MODALITAS COMPUTED RADIOGRAPHY (CR)
Currently, repeat radiographic imaging frequently occurs during abdominal examinations, resulting in the reduced service quality due to several factors such as human error and imaging artifacts. For this reason, this research aimed to identify the factors contributing to repeat imaging, determine the repeat image rate, and analyse the causes of repeat radiographic imaging in abdominal \r\nexaminations performed using computed radiography (CR) at Radiology Department of Jakarta Islamic Hospital, Pondok Kopi. This research applied a qualitative method with descriptive approach. As for the data, they were entirely collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. While the research samples consisted of abdominal examinations that required repeat imaging using computed radiography (CR) among all abdominal examinations performed \r\nbetween January and April 2026, based on secondary data.\r\nThe results of research showed that, out of 121 abdominal radiographic images, 13 required repeat imaging, corresponding to a repeat rate of 10.7%. The identified causes of repeat imaging were positioning errors in 12 images (92%) and imaging artifacts in 1 image (8%). The results of analysis revealed that the positioning errors were attributable to radiographers, clinical internship students, and the patients, whereas imaging artifacts were associated with radiographers, the patients, and equipment. Overall, human error was identified as the primary cause of repeat abdominal radiographic imaging. The repeat rate for abdominal radiographic examinations performed using computed radiography (CR) conducted at Radiology Department of Jakarta Islamic Hospital, Pondok Kopi, still remains relatively high.
