STUDI DESKRIPTIF TINGKAT KEPADATAN LALAT BERDASARKAN KONDISI SANITASI DI RUSUN SEDERHANA PULO JAHE II JAKARTA TIMUR TAHUN 2024
ABSTRACTrnPoor environmental sanitation can increase the risk of spreading disease, one of whichrnis through flies such as house flies, green flies and flesh flies. These flies usually breedrnin habitats outside human habitation that have decayed and are full of bacteria andrnother pathogenic organisms, such as rotting vegetation, animal waste, garbage, and thernlike. In the results of previous research carried out by a group of 7 students from thernJakarta II Health Polytechnic, results were obtained from measuring the fly populationrnindex or the average number of fly populations at the Pulo Jahe II Flats TPS, EastrnJakarta, namely 9.4 with a quality standard of ≤2, so it is said that the density of fliesrnis high in that area. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of these factors isrnimportant in efforts to control fly populations and prevent the spread of diseases thatrnhave the potential to endanger human health.rnThe author has carried out research entitled Descriptive Study of Fly Density LevelsrnBased on Sanitation Conditions in Pulo Jahe II Flats, East Jakarta City in 2024.rnthe author has done. This research is descriptive in nature, that is, it only provides anrnoverview of the sanitary conditions and the level of fly density in the Pulo Jahe II Flatsrnwith the specific aim of knowing the level of fly density and fly species, knowing thernphysical environmental conditions (temperature, humidity and lighting), knowing therncondition of residential sanitation facilities (garbage dumps and waste containers),rnknowing the control efforts that have been carried out by the settlement managementrnagainst flies.rnBased on the research results, the results obtained were that the fly density level wasrnin the low category, the condition of the Garbage Disposal Site (TPS) did not meet thernrequirements, the temperature conditions at the Garbage Disposal Site (TPS) were notrnoptimal for the presence of flies, the humidity conditions at the Trash Disposal Sitern(TPS) were not optimal for the presence of flies, the wind speed conditions at PulornJahe II Flats, East Jakarta City were 0 m/s. The author gives suggestions to carry outrnroutine cleaning in the area around each unit and always maintain the cleanliness ofrnthe environment around the flat, make improvements related to the management,rnstorage and transportation of waste at the TPS, provide facilities for organic, inorganicrnand B3 waste and provide covers at the TPS.rnLiterature : 31 (2006 – 2023)rnClassification : Book : 20rnJournal : 5rnRegulation : 6
