STUDI DESKRIPTIF TENTANG KONDISI KESEHATAN LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS MUHAMMADIYAH 4 KOTA JAKARTA TIMUR TAHUN 2025

Health is not only related to a persons physical condition but is also influenced by a healthy environment, including the school environment. A healthy school environment is the initial step in creating a healthy learning environment, starting with adequate facilities and infrastructure, sanitation facilities, and building construction. Therefore, it is crucial for every educational institution to have a healthy school environment to optimally improve the quality of school health. The benefits of this study can increase the authors insight into school environmental health and can be used as material for school evaluations regarding maintenance in realizing and creating a healthy school environment. rnThis descriptive study was titled A Descriptive Study of School Environmental Health Conditions at Muhammadiyah 4 Senior High School, East Jakarta City, in 2025. The scope of the research examined environmental health conditions, including the schools location, building construction, building spaces, physical air quality (lighting and noise), sanitation facilities (clean water, toilets, handwashing facilities with soap, wastewater treatment facilities, garbage disposal facilities), public facilities (worship space, sports facilities, schoolyard), and the density of mosquito larvae at Muhammadiyah 4 Senior High School, East Jakarta City, in 2025.rnBased on the research results, the findings revealed that the building construction included roofs and gutters, ceilings, walls, and rainwater drainage. The variables that did not meet the requirements were classrooms and the school health unit (UKS), lighting and noise levels, sanitation facilities included toilets, garbage disposal facilities, and rainwater catchment areas, and the density of mosquito larvae did not meet the Environmental Health Quality Standards.rnrnrnBibliography : 22 (2010-2024)rnClasification : rnSanitation of Public Place : 17rnResearch Methods : 2rnStatistics : 1 rnK3 : 2
