Penetepan Kadar Tablet Klonidin Hidroklorida Secara Kromatografi Cair Kinerja Tinggi
Clonidine hydrochloride is one of the antihypertensive drugs. Clonidine is an alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist that acts in the brain which functions to reduce sympathetic outflow to the heart and peripheral blood vessels, therefore clonidine can lower blood pressure systemically. Tests for determining the levels of Clonidine Hydrochloride need to be carried out to ensure the quality and safety of the drug. This test aims to determine the levels of Clonidine Hydrochloride in tablet preparations using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). UV detector λ 220 nm with an injection volume of 50 μL and a flow rate of approximately 1.0 mL/min. Sample testing was carried out three repetitions. Based on the experiments and calculations that have been carried out, it was obtained that the average level of Clonidine Hydrochloride in tablets was 102.28%, it can be concluded that the sample met the requirements according to the requirements for the Clonidine Hydrochloride tablet monograph in the Indonesian Pharmacopeia VI Edition 2020.
