TEKNIK PEMERIKSAAN ULTRASONOGRAFI PAYUDARA PADA KASUS MULTIPEL KISTA MAMMAE DI KLINIK SIAGA MEDIKA

Breast cysts are often found in women, this encourages women to frequently check their breasts as early as possible. Early
detection of breasts can be done using ultrasound modalities because ultrasound does not use radiation and is noninvasive. However, examination using this ultrasound tool requires the expertise of the sonographer who performs the
procedure. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the correct examination technique in order to avoid misdiagnosis when
performing an ultrasound examination of the breast. This research is a qualitative descriptive type in the form of direct
observation at the Medika Siaga Clinic which was held on March 1-31 2021. The sample taken in this study was 1 patient
with inclusion criteria having symptoms of a palpable lump in the breast. The results of the study explain that breast
ultrasound examination can be done using an alternative Convex Transducer with a frequency of 5 MHz by setting Deep
on the monitor screen on the Ultrasonography device.
