This research aims to know the imaging process of thorax examination using digital radiography, starting from the entry of patient to hospital, carry out registration in radiology installation, the taking of X-rays photo up to the reading of photo result by a radiologist.
In connection to which, based on the type, this research is designed through a descriptive and qualitative approach, which was conducted in radiology installation of Tangerang General Hospital starting from 1st March through 29th March 2017.
Furthermore, the population observed in this research is all patients coming to the Radiology Installation of Tangerang General Hospital who will go through Thorax examination. Meanwhile, the sample used herein is one patient. And the data processing applied herein is done by the observation result obtained in the field and also interview to the radiographer.
Accordingly, the data is processed by using descriptive method. Digital radiography method facilitates the work of a radiographer, as the image result exposes comes directly through the DR monitor. The weakness of digital radiography using wireless detector is the range will show error because it occasionally clashes with the patient’s bed and it fall down because of the weight.
