Penetapan Kadar Hidroklorotiazid Dalam Sediaan Tablet Secara Kromatografi Cair Kinerja Tinggi

Hydrochlorothiazide is an antihypertensive drug used to treat hypertension. All of these drugs must have the required quality before being circulated and consumed by the patient. This drug must be tested to determine its quality. One of the test that needs to be done is the level determination. This test aims to determine hydrochlorothiazide levels in tablet dosage form using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with C18 column (25 cm column length, 4.6 mm inner diameter) and isocratic mobile phase in the form of a mixture of monobasic phosphate P: Acetonitrile P (9: 1), flow rate of 2.0 mL / minute, UV-Vis detector λ 254 nm. Samples were tested twice. Based on experiments and calculations that have been done, the average level of hydrochlorothiazide in tablets is 94.85% and RSD is 0.7847%. So, it can be concluded that the sample meets the requirements according to the monograph requirements of Hydrochlorothiazide tablets in Indonesian Pharmacopoeia Edition V 2014.
