UJI EFEKTIVITAS INFUSA DAUN MAHKOTA DEWA (PHALERIA MACROCARPA) SEBAGAI LARVASIDA NABATI TERHADAP MORTALITAS LARVA NYAMUK AEDES AEGYPTI INSTAR III TAHUN 2026
Indonesia is a tropical country that continues to face the problem of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), which is transmitted by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. One effective approach to vector control is to interrupt the mosquito life cycle at the larval stage. Mahkota dewa leaves (Phaleria macrocarpa) contain active compounds, including alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, and tannins, which have potential as botanical larvicides. This study is expected to provide information on the utilization of mahkota dewa leaf infusion as an environmentally friendly alternative botanical larvicide. This study was entitled “Effectiveness Test of Mahkota Dewa Leaf Infusion (Phaleria macrocarpa) on the Mortality of Aedes aegypti Instar III Larvae.”\r\nThis study employed a quasi-experimental design. The study consisted of seven treatment groups, including a positive control, a negative control, and mahkota dewa leaf infusion at concentrations of 1%, 8%, 9.2%, 10%, and 11%. Each treatment was replicated five times, with 20 instar III larvae in each replicate. The data were analyzed using One-Way ANOVA and probit analysis to determine the LC50 value.\r\nThe results showed that the average larval mortality at concentrations of 1%, 8%, 9.2%, 10%, and 11% was 15%, 45%, 62%, 84%, and 90%, respectively. The ANOVA test showed a significance value of 0.000 (p
