Hubungan Faktor Lingkungan Kerja Dan Faktor Karakteristik Pekerja Dengan Keluhan Kejadian ISPA Pada Pekerja Bagian Produksi PT Buana Masa Metalindo Tahun 2026
ABSTRACT Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) remain a significant occupational health issue, particularly among workers exposed to dust and particulates in production environments. This study aims to analyze the relationship between work environment factors and worker characteristics and the incidence of Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) among production workers at PT Buana Masa Metalindo in 2026. The study employs an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consists of 88 workers selected using total sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, workplace observations, and measurements of PM2.5 and PM10 dust levels using a particle counter. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate methods, specifically the chi-square test. The study results indicate that 45.5% of workers experienced symptoms of acute respiratory infections (ARI). The majority of workers were aged ≥30 years (68.2%), had no history of illness (85.2%), and worked in environments where PM2.5 (73.9%) and PM10 (77.3%) levels exceeded quality standards. A total of 61.4% of workers used personal protective equipment (PPE). Bivariate analysis showed significant associations between ARI symptoms and PM2.5 levels (p=0.030), PM10 levels (p=0.037), and PPE usage (p=0.004). Meanwhile, age (p=0.210), medical history (p=0.790), smoking habits (p=0.101), and family environment (p=0.686) did not show significant associations.
