ANALISIS FAKTOR PENYEBAB PENGULANGAN FOTO PADA PEMERIKSAAN THORAX PEDIATRIK DENGAN MODALITAS DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY
This research aimed to analyse the factors contributing to repeat imaging in \r\npaediatric chest radiography using Digital Radiography (DR). This research \r\ncompletely applied a descriptive analytical method with an observational approach. \r\nAs for the data, they were collected through observation, interviews, and \r\ndocumentation of paediatric chest radiographic examinations performed on \r\nchildren under 5 years of age who required repeat imaging. While the analysis \r\nfocused on determining the repeat rate, identifying the factors responsible for repeat \r\nexposures, and evaluating the conformity of the examination procedures with the \r\napplicable standards.\r\nThe results of this research showed that repeat imaging remained relatively \r\nfrequent to occur and was attributable to several factors, primarily the patient \r\nmotion, positioning errors, inappropriate imaging techniques, and the suboptimal \r\nuse of immobilization devices. In addition, human error was also identified as a \r\ncontributing factor to repeat imaging.\r\nThe research findings indicate that repeat imaging in paediatric chest \r\nradiography should be minimized through improved radiographer accuracy, \r\nadherence to appropriate examination protocols, and optimization of quality \r\nassurance practices. Accordingly, these measures are essential for maintaining the \r\nquality of radiology services while reducing the unnecessary radiation exposure in \r\nthe paediatric patients
