ABDUL HARITS MUZAKKY\r\nEVALUATION OF RADIOGRAPHIC PROCEDURES AND RADIATION PROTECTION MEASURES IN SHOULDER JOINT RADIOGRAPHIC EXAMINATION THE FOR PATIENTS WITH A CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS OF FROZEN SHOULDER AT RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF KISA REGIONAL GENERAL HOSPITAL, DEPOK CITY\r\nV Chapters + 70 Pages + 11 Figures + 14 Appendices\r\nFrozen shoulder causes pain and restricted range of motion, which may affect the performance of shoulder joint radiographic examinations. This research aimed to evaluate the radiographic examination procedures and radiation protection measures implemented for the patients with a clinical diagnosis of frozen shoulder undertaken at Radiology Department of KISA Regional General Hospital, Depok City. This research applied a qualitative method with descriptive approach using among the other things observation, interviews, and a literature review involving five patients.\r\nThe research results showed that the examination was performed using anteroposterior (AP) external rotation and anteroposterior (AP) internal rotation projections, with the patient positioning adjusted according to each patient\'s clinical condition. Radiation protection measures were implemented in accordance with the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle through an appropriate beam collimation and the selection of suitable exposure factors, resulting in diagnostic-quality radiographic images. Accordingly, it was concluded that the radiographic examination procedures and radiation protection measures conducted at Radiology Department of KISA Regional General Hospital, Depok City, were appropriately implemented in accordance with the clinical condition of the patients with frozen shoulder.\r\nKeywords : Frozen Shoulder, Shoulder Joint, Radiography, Radiation Protection, ALARA
