The skin is the outermost organ of the human body and plays an important role in protecting the body from external factors while maintaining moisture balance. A decrease in skin moisture can lead to dry skin conditions (xerosis cutis), which are characterized by rough, scaly skin and itching. Early detection of skin moisture levels is essential to prevent dermatological disorders and to determine appropriate skincare treatment. This study aims to design and develop a skin moisture detection device equipped with a skin condition indicator to provide more informative and practical measurement results. The measurement data are displayed on a screen and equipped with skin condition category indicators, such as dry, normal, and moist. In addition, the system is designed to store measurement data for documentation purposes. The test results show that the device is capable of detecting skin moisture levels and displaying skin condition categories in real time. With the addition of skin condition indicators and data storage features, this device is expected to assist users in monitoring skin moisture more objectively and efficiently.
