In relation to which, one of the therapeutic modalities employed is Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), particularly in the patients who are not candidates for surgical intervention. This research aims to analyse the implementation of the SBRT technique using abdominal compression in the clinical management of lung cancer with the Lattice method.rnThis research employed a qualitative method with descriptive approach. As for the data, they were collected through among the other things direct observation, review of radiotherapy treatment planning documentation, and interviews with the radiation oncologist, medical physicist, and radiotherapists involved in the delivery of therapy. While the research was conducted at Radiotherapy Department of Dharmais Cancer Hospital, Jakarta, from November to December 2025, with one patient with lung cancer included as the research sample.rnThe results of the study demonstrated that the use of abdominal compression reduced tumour motion due to respiration, thereby improving the accuracy of irradiation. The Lattice method enabled the delivery of high doses to selected regions within large tumours while maintaining the dose to organs at risk (OARs) within the acceptable safety limits.rnIn conclusion, the combination of Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), the Lattice method, and abdominal compression represents an effective and safe technique in the radiotherapeutic management of lung cancer in selected clinical indications.rnrnKeywords : SBRT, Lung Cancer, Lattice Method, Radiotherapy.rnrnTranslated by:rnrnrnrnrnrnrnSuhendar, S.S., M.Pd.rnEnglish Lecturer
