STUDI DESKRIPTIF KONDISI KESEHATAN LINGKUNGAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI GUNUNG 01 PAGI\r\nJAKARTA SELATAN TAHUN 2025
School environmental health is essential to create a clean and healthy environmentrnfor students and teachers. Therefore, efforts must be made to improve sanitationrnfacilities, such as providing an adequate and safe supply of clean water, ensuringrnhygienic and functional toilets, and managing waste disposal effectively andrnefficiently. With proper sanitation facilities, students can learn and grow in a safe andrnhealthy environment, enabling them to focus on the teaching and learning processrnand achieve optimal academic performance.rnIn this way, the spread of diseases can be prevented, health risks reduced, and thernquality of life for students improved, all of which support an optimal learningrnprocess. This will have a positive impact on students’ physical, mental, andrnemotional development, allowing them to reach their full academic potential andrnbecome a high-quality, competitive generation in the future. Therefore, schoolrnenvironmental health must be a top priority for all relevant parties, including therngovernment, schools, teachers, parents, and the wider community.rnA study conducted at Sekolah Dasar Negeri Gunung 01 Pagi, South Jakarta, foundrnthat the school’s location meets environmental health standards, the school canteenrnand food stalls also comply with health requirements, and sanitation facilities such asrnclean water, toilets, and wastewater disposal systems meet the standards as well.rnHowever, several aspects of the buildings construction—including the roof, ceiling,rnfloor, stairs, doors, and windows—require improvements to meet environmentalrnhealth standards. In addition, the physical air quality in classrooms needs to bernimproved by adding proper ventilation and lighting.
