The research was conducted using a 1.5 Tesla MRI system undertaken at Bhayangkara Level I Hospital, Indonesian National Police Health Centre, starting from September up to November 2025. Data were collected by performing MRI knee joint examinations on 15 patients as the samples, with the addition of Axial MERGE and Axial T2-weighted FSE sequences.rnAs for the data collection methods used in this research, they included among the other things the questionnaire completion by eight respondents, consisting of four radiographers and four radiologists who evaluated the quality of MRI images, particularly anatomical visualization and motion artifacts, as well as the documentation carried out during the research process. While the research instruments used were questionnaire sheets and documentation tools in the form of a camera and DVDs.rnIn conclusion, the results of the data analysis in this research revealed that the additional use of the Axial MERGE sequence produced clear and high-quality axial anatomical images by increasing the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and enhancing image contrast, thereby minimizing the presence of artifacts.rnrnKeywords : MRI Knee Joint, Axial MERGE, Anatomy, ArtifactrnReferences : 29 sources (2015–2025)
