In addition, the previous researches on ankle joint MRI have compared the various sequences, including among the other things STIR, SPAIR, Proton Density Fat Saturation, and 3D FSPGR, and have demonstrated differences in image quality and the resulting anatomical information. However, the researches comparing the image information between T2 TSE and T2 Pseudo Steady-State sequences in sagittal ankle joint MRI examinations considerably remain still limited, particularly in the clinical practice in Indonesia.rnResearch Objective: This research aims to analyse the image information obtained using T2 TSE and T2 Pseudo Steady State sequences in sagittal MRI examinations of the ankle joint.rnResearch Design: This research applied a quantitative research design with an experimental approach and primary data collection. The research was conducted at Radiology Department of Pertamina Central Hospital starting from September up to November 2025, involving a total sample of five patients. Each patient underwent two different imaging protocols during sagittal ankle joint MRI examinations using T2 TSE and T2 Pseudo Steady-State sequences. Thereafter, questionnaire data were processed by calculating the mean values using Microsoft Excel and categorized based on class interval scores. As for the data, it was statistically analysed by applying normality test using the Shapiro Wilk test. Since the data were not normally distributed, further analysis was consequently performed using the Wilcoxon two-sample test by evaluating the p-value.rnResearch Results: as the results, this research indicates that there are differences in the image information in terms of anatomical shape, specifically in the Abductor Digiti Minimi and the Achilles Tendon. In terms of image sharpness, there was no difference in the assessment between T2 TSE and T2 Pseudo Steady State sequences. However, in terms of contrast resolution, differences were observed in the evaluation of the talocrural joint, Abductor Digiti Minimi, and Achilles Tendon.rnrnKeywords : MRI Ankle Joint, Turbo Spin Echo, Pseudo Steady StaternReferences : 20 (2015–2021)rnrnTranslated by:rnSuhendar, S.S., M.Pd.rnEnglish Lecturer
