STUDI DESKRIPTIF KESIAPSIAGAAN PROTEKSI KEBAKARAN DI RUSUNAWA JATINEGARA BARAT GEDUNG “A”, JAKARTA TIMUR TAHUN 2025

Rusunawa Jatinegara Barat, East Jakarta is a public rental apartment building classified as a high-rise building with a low fire hazard level, categorized as Class 4. The research method used by the author is descriptive, employing total sampling techniques. The population and sample in this study consist of Administrative Preparedness, Fire Protection Facilities Preparedness, and Human Resource (HR) Development and Training Preparedness.rnrnThe results of the study indicate that overall fire protection preparedness in Rusunawa Jatinegara Barat Building “A”, East Jakarta is rated as insufficient, meaning it does not meet the required standards, with an assessment score of 58%. Administrative preparedness for fire protection scored 41%. Fire protection facilities preparedness scored 59%, which includes active protection facilities scoring 56%, consisting of: fire extinguishers (APAR) at 46%, hydrants at 63%, smoke detectors at 40%, fire alarms at 80%, and sprinklers at 71%. Passive protection facilities scored 71%, consisting of: building structure at 100%, evacuation routes at 33%, emergency doors at 73%, emergency lighting at 72%, directional signs at 60%, assembly points at 100%, emergency stairs at 100%, and fire lifts at 100%. Human resource development and training preparedness scored 44%, consisting of: certification at 50%, training implementation at 0%, training activities at 50%, and emergency response drills at 100%.rnrnThe conclusion of this study is that fire protection preparedness at Rusunawa Jatinegara Barat Building “A”, East Jakarta, has not yet met the required standards.
