ANALISIS PEMERIKSAAN RADIOGRAFI VERTEBRAE LUMBOSACRAL DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI CIPUTRA HOSPITAL CITRAGARDEN CITY
Anatomically, the columna vertebrae is, commonly referred to as the spine, is a flexible structural support of the body that elastically extends from the lower to the upper regions. Columna vertebrae plays a crucial role in protecting the spinal cord and spinal nerves, and also functions as a support for the head, neck, thorax, abdomen, and pelvis. In relation to which, this radiographic examination of the spine aims to identify any abnormalities or conditions affecting the vertebral column, including among the other things fractures, spina bifida, Low Back Pain (LBP), herniated nucleus pulposus (HNP), spondylolysis, and scoliosis.rnThis research aims to evaluate the radiographic examination procedure of the lumbosacral vertebrae. The research was conducted at Radiology Department of Ciputra Hospital CitraGarden City starting from April up to May 2025, using a qualitative method with descriptive approach, involving interviews and direct observation of data obtained by the researcher. The results indicate that the erect patient position provides a clearer view of the intervertebral disc compression, helping to identify any potential narrowing, and also makes the patient positioning easier
