ANALISIS TEKNIK PEMERIKSAAN ADENOID CLOSE MOUTH DI RS HERMINA CILEGON

Radiologically, radiographic examination of the adenoids is performed due to rnthe availability of issues such as respiratory problems, rhinitis, sinusitis, sleep apnea, rnand otitis media, which are commonly caused by the enlarged adenoid glands or rnadenoid hypertrophy. This research aims to analyse the closed-mouth adenoid rnexamination technique carried out at Hermina Hospital Cilegon.rnThis research was conducted at Hermina Hospital Cilegon starting from rnMarch up to April 2025, involving the patients undergoing adenoid examinations as rnthe research subjects. A qualitative case study method was used through direct rnobservation. As for the data collection methods, they included among the other things rnobservation, interviews, and literature review.rnBased on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the radiographic rnexamination of the adenoids at Hermina Hospital Cilegon is performed exclusively rnusing the closed-mouth method. This closed-mouth method is chosen to ensure the rnpatient comfort and to minimize the risk of patient movement during the procedurernof examination.
