Evaluasi Verifikasi Geometri pada Klinis Kanker Servik Teknik 3 Dimensional Conformal Radiotherapy (3D-CRT) Menggunakan Alat Electronic Portal Imaging Devices (EPID)
Verification is an important component of radiotherapy aimed at obtaining data on the variations that occur during a patient undergoing radiation. Verification of Cervical Cancer The 3D-CRT technique is performed on a multiple of 5 fractions using the Electronic Portal Imaging Devices (EPID).
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the geometrical verification of cervical cancer the 3 Dimensional Conformal Radiotherapy (3D-CRT) tecnique using Electronic Portal Imaging Devices (EPID). The design of this research is descriptive quantitative, with the method of observation and interview.
The study was conducted at Radiotherapy Installation in Dharmais Cancer Hospital using primary data in March until April 2018.
Data collection method was done by field observation and interview to radiotherapist. The research instrument used primary data of verification result, worksheet and interview guide.
Processing and analysis of data obtained through direct observation and interviews, by looking at verification management procedures, comparing the results of verification with the limits of tolerance that exist in the theory, and know the cause of the radiation field shift in cases of cervical cancer the 3 Dimensional Conformal Radiotherapy (3D-CRT ) tecnique. The result is still frequent radiation shifts that exceed the tolerance limit and the dominant cause of the radiation field shift is the marker on the shifting skin and the patient's positioning.
