Purposefully, this research aims to observe the image differences between using a flow rate of 3.0
ml/s and 4.0 ml/s in multiphasic MSCT Abdominal examinations for suspected hepatocellular
carcinoma undertaken at dr. Fauziah Regional General Hospital.
This research applies a quantitative method with analytical design approach conducted starting
from October up to November 2024. As for the research population, it includes all patients
undergoing multiphasic abdominal CT scans conducted at dr. Fauziah Regional General Hospital,
with a sample size of 10 patients using primary data.
Furthermore, the data were collected through among the other things observation and
measurements. Research instruments included worksheets and computers. Image measurements
were performed by assessing the Region of Interest (ROI) in each phase using different flow rates.
In conclusion, the data were processed and analysed by using an Independent T-Test. And then,
the research found that the highest enhancement value is 82 HU in the venous phase with a flow
rate of 4.0 ml/s.
