HUBUNGAN ASUPAN ENERGI, ZAT GIZI MAKRO, RASIO LINGKAR PINGGANG PANGGUL, KEBIASAAN MEROKOK TERHADAP TEKANAN DARAH PADA POLISI POLRESTA TANGERANG
High blood pressure is a deadly non-communicable disease. Usually referred to as "the silent killer" because it has no symptoms that appear in a person. Based on Riskesdas data in 2013, the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia was 25.8% and increased in 2018 to 34.1%. The
general aim of this research is to analyze the relationship Energy Intake, Macro Nutrition, Waist & Hip Circumference Ratio, Smoking Habits and Blood Pressure in Tanggerang Police. The type of research used is a cross-sectional research design. The sample was taken using
simple purposive sampling. The sampling consisted of 36 members of the Tanggerangg Police. Data analysis used the chi-square test. The results of this study are that there is a significant relationship between RLPP and blood pressure (p < 0,05), there is a significant relationship
between smoking habits and blood pressure (p < 0,05), there is no significant relationship between the level of energy adequacy and blood pressure (p≥0,05), there is no significant relationship between carbohydrate intake and blood pressure (p ≥ 0,05) and there is a significant
relationship between the level of protein intake and the incidence of hypertension (p = 0.000), and there is a significant relationship between the level of fat intake and blood pressure (p value 0.000) It is recommended that respondents limit the frequency of consumption of foods high in saturated fat, increase physical activity by exercising at least 30 minutes/day.
