Medically, CT Scan coronary angiography is a non-invasive alternative imaging which constitutes the reference standard in evaluating the degree of coronary artery stenosis. In relation to which, the benefit of a Coronary CT Scan Angiography examination is to detect plaque blockages in the coronary blood vessels. The aforementioned coronary blood vessels are among the other things the Left Anterior Descending (LAD), Left Circumflex Artery (LCX), and Right Coronary Artery (RCA). Furthermore, in a CT Scan Coronary Angiography examination, there are several things that must be considered, including the Heart Rate. Heart Rate is the number of heartbeats per unit of time which is usually expressed per minute/beats per minute (bpm). For that reason, the patient's heart rate recommended for a CT Scan Coronary Angiography examination must be below 75 bpm. Meanwhile, stenosis is a condition where blood vessels become narrowed and progressive. Thereafter, measuring stenosis during the CT Scan Coronary Angiography examination undertaken at Regional General Hospital Banten was executed by using Syngo.via software.
This research aims to evaluate stenosis measurements on CT Scan Coronary Angiography undertaken at Regional General Hospital Banten and to analyze CT Scan Coronary Angiography examinations conducted at Regional General Hospital Banten.
Design of this research applies qualitative descriptive method by doing an observation, documentation and measurements approaches. This research was undertaken in Radiology Installation of Regional General Hospital Banten starting from August up to October 2023 by using CT Scan machine of Siemens Somatom go top 128 Slice with a total number of samples of 22 patients who were undergoing the measurement of Stenosis with a Heart Rate < 75 bpm. As for the data in this research, it is secondary data namely the data of examination that has been carried out and the primary data when conducting the research.
Result of this research suggests that there is an influence of Heart Rate value on the measurement of stenosis on CT Scan Coronary Angiography undertaken at Radiology Installation of Regional General Hospital Banten.
