Background of this research: Pathologically, cardiovascular abnormality which is also called
heart abnormality usually refers to such a condition where there is a narrow condition or the
existence of blockage in the blood vessels, which can cause the hit in the heart and pain in the
chest (angina), even resulting in the cessation of blood circulation to brain. Furthermore, another
form of heart disease affecting the work of heart tendon, heart valve, or heart rhythm can also
occur.
The Objective of this research: In relation to which, this research describes and evaluates the
examination procedure, examination technique, and the results of Cardiac Pediatric CT scan
angiography image using Bolus Tracking Technique undertaken in Harapan Kita Mother and
Child Hospital, Jakarta.
Research design: this research applies a direct observation and monitoring activity in the field,
which is then followed by the activity of among the other things processing and analyzing the data.
For this reason, this research uses descriptive analysis method by processing qualitative data
obtained from the aforementioned observations, evaluations and conducting interviews. As for the
sample technique used, it is Non Random Sampling technique.
The result of study: this research concludes that the procedure of examination as well as the
technique of examination and the analysis results of CT Scan Cardiac Angiography examination
image in pediatrics using Bolus Tracking Technique can be accordingly recognized.
